Borderless.Fi's website, token and decentralized exchanges (through Balancer.Fi) are secure and safe to use. However, scammers may target users of Borderless.Fi in ways that cannot be controlled by the team at Borderless.Fi.
What To Look Out For
You should be aware of several ways scammers may target users of Borderless.Fi. Always compare token addresses, website URLs, usernames and social handles with our official links and details.
- Fake tokens: Do not buy fake tokens as they are not backed by real tokenized assets. Fake tokens may have the same name and icon. Always check the token address and compare it with the official token contract address.
- Fake websites: Do not visit or connect your wallet to fake websites. Always check the URL of the website you visit, especially if you click into it from Twitter, Discord, or other sources. Ensure that the URL matches the official website URL, for Borderless or our DEX partner (Balancer).
Here are a few examples of fake URL: https://borderless.site, https://fi.borderless.io, https://borderless.connectwallet.fi - Fake persons: Official personnel from Borderless.Fi will never ask you for your wallet seed phrase, or for you to transfer funds. If you receive a friend connection on Discord or get tagged on Twitter, always check the username of the person who added you or tagged you. Compare it to the ID of our official personnel or Twitter handle above.
